Each conference has its own conference management workflow. The workflow consists of parts, such as program committee invitation or submission page opening, which can be run consecutively, concurrently, or overlap each other.
EasyChair helps you with organizing your workflow through the conference configuration by turning various options off and on (for example, enabling assignment). Some workflow parts can be scheduled, for example, opening and closing the submission page can be scheduled to a specific time.
To help you understand and organize various workflow parts, EasyChair has a workflow page accessible by chairs. To view this page, use the menu tabs “Administration” -> “Workflow”. Chairs can make records about their conference workflow on this workflow page.
The EasyChair Workflow is more of a guide rather than any rigid structure. Not everything on it will be useful for all conferences. However, chairs can find it to be a useful guide.
