Pervasive surveillance has become possible in ways that were unimaginable a couple of decades ago. This means that the general population is frequently required to make ethical choices about new technologies with a societal impact. The goal of the larp was to put participants in simulated (role-played) situations where they needed to make ethical choices about how to use or respond to machine vision technologies so as to develop a practical ethical awareness Keyphrases: Methodologies, ethics, live action roleplaying (larp), machine vision, public engagement
