In this paper, the working principle of isolated three active bridge converter is analyzed in detail, and the frequency-domain steady-state analysis model is established; On this basis, the constraints such as voltage gain, maximum power, and Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) are introduced sequentially with the operating characteristics of the converter and the safe operating domain, which greatly reduces the parameter design space and the optimization difficulty; Then, the main circuit parameters of the multiport converter are optimized with the design objective of minimizing the weighted average loss in the full operating domain of the converter. The proposed method comprehensively considers the main circuit parameters and its complex coupling, avoiding the efficiency degradation caused by neglecting the coupling effect. In addition, the optimization process is based on the full operating domain, which ensures efficient operation under various loads and operating conditions.
