Electronic contracts cannot be held for matters relating to recorded objects. With regard to the format and validity of this contract, according to Chapter III of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Commerce states that: An offer and acceptance can be expressed in the form of a data message and if the data is used as a contract format then the contract is valid and has legal force. This means that an exchange of electronic messages (data messages) can lead to an offer and acceptance and therefore can form a valid contract.
