Description
Personalized medicine needs more than algorithms. It needs systems that can sense, connect, and adapt in the real world, across diverse people, contexts, and care pathways. Mobile4Medicine focuses on mobile systems and pervasive computing that enable patient centered healthcare, from continuous sensing and data acquisition to intelligent analysis and actionable feedback. Smartphones, wearables, ambient sensors, and connected medical devices are now capable of capturing rich signals in daily life and turning them into timely support for prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, and rehabilitation.
Telehealth and telemedicine are also reshaping healthcare delivery, with care increasingly moving from hospitals to homes and communities. Advances in IoT, edge and cloud computing, data analytics, and machine learning make it possible to build solutions for chronic disease management, recovery support, and lifestyle interventions that are responsive, scalable, and personalized. At the same time, building trustworthy digital health systems requires attention to interoperability, reliability, usability, and energy efficiency, as well as privacy and security by design.
Mobile4Medicine welcomes research and practice oriented contributions that bridge technology and healthcare needs. We are especially interested in work that demonstrates end to end thinking: sensing and biosignal processing, robust mobile and embedded platforms, intelligent decision support, secure data sharing, and clinically meaningful evaluation. Submissions that report deployment experiences, real world studies, and lessons learned are strongly encouraged, including negative results that can help the community avoid common pitfalls.
The workshop is intentionally multidisciplinary. We invite researchers and practitioners from mobile and pervasive systems, AI and data science, HCI, security and privacy, rehabilitation engineering, and healthcare to share innovations that improve wellbeing and enable more equitable access to care. If your work involves mobile applications, ubiquitous devices, intelligent analytics, assistive and robotic technologies, AR and wearables, or scalable cloud and edge infrastructures for healthcare, Mobile4Medicine is a great place to present it.
We particularly encourage submissions with real world evaluations, deployments, datasets, tools, and lessons learned.
