MAPD Symposium 2026
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Authors must submit the written case report in Word format.
The written case report should be typed in Aptos, font size 12, with 1.15 spacing.
A full write-up should follow as the sections below:
i. Title Pages.
a. Title—Capitalize the first letter of each word and italicize any scientific names. Try not to exceed 20 words.
b. Authors—Each author listed should include the first (given) name and surname (last name).
c. Affiliation(s) of the authors should be included.
d. Name of the correspondence author, affiliation and email address should be written.
ii. Case Report: The total number of pages is advised to be 3-4 pages (excluding the title page).
a. Title—DO NOT include the name of the author(s), affiliation(s), and correspondence details here.
b. Abstract—The abstract text should be 250 words or less. - Keywords of 3-5 words should be included at the end of the abstract.
c. Introduction
d. Case Presentation—To include figures with acceptable resolution. - Each figure must be accompanied by a description under it.- Maximum of 6 photos per article.- Use superscript for references within the text.
e. Discussion
f. Conclusion.
g. Acknowledgments (if any)
h. References- References should follow the AMA style. - References must be numbered consecutively in the text in order of citation, and use superscript for the referencing within text. - The reference list must be typed at the end of the case report in numerical sequence with no more than 15 references cited.
Informed Consent—Informed consent should be obtained from the patients/parents and should be mentioned in the text of the case report. - Identifiable information such as details of patients and identifiable photographs should not be published.
Publication
Selected MAPD2026 proceedings will be published in the Malaysian Journal of Paediatric Dentistry
