We cordially invite you to the 2026 IEEE 4th Conference on Information Technology and Data Science (CITDS 2026), to be held in Debrecen, Hungary, on 27–28 August 2026. The event will be organized in a hybrid format (in-person/online). The official language of the conference is English.

The conference is organized by the Faculty of Informatics, University of Debrecen, Hungary. The conference sponsors are the University of Debrecen, the IEEE Hungary Section, and the John von Neumann Computer Society.

The aim of the 4th Conference on Information Technology and Data Science is to bring together researchers, developers, and teachers from academia as well as industry working in all areas of data and information technologies. Specialists in these fields, young researchers, and PhD students are warmly welcome to participate. The conference offers a valuable platform for participants to exchange ideas, results, and ongoing work across a wide range of topics.

Submission of Papers

Both abstracts and full papers can be submitted. Authors who intend to publish a paper in the conference proceedings should submit their paper(s) in advance. Authors who do not intend to publish a paper may submit an abstract only.

Abstracts must be between 1 and 2 pages, while full papers must be between 4 and 6 pages. Submissions should follow the IEEE standard double-column A4 format. All submissions must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere at the same time. Papers should be submitted through EasyChair.

Conference Proceedings

Accepted papers will be considered for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers will also be considered for publication in special issues of highly ranked journals. IEEE does not allow pay-to-publish; therefore, at least one author of each paper must attend the conference and present the paper.
