The 4th UK-China Teaching, Learning, and Educational Technology (TILE-TEC) Conference will be held in Chengdu, China, from 22–24 May, 2026. The conference aims to bring together academics, researchers, educators, educational developers, students, and industry professionals from the UK, China, and beyond to explore the transformative role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in higher education, with particular emphasis on Transnational Education (TNE).As Generative AI technologies rapidly reshape teaching, learning, assessment, and student support, higher education institutions face both unprecedented opportunities and complex challenges. These include questions of academic integrity, ethics, sustainability, staff and student preparedness, and the redefinition of pedagogical and professional roles. At the same time, AI-driven innovation offers powerful tools to enhance learning personalization, improve student engagement, support inclusive education, and promote sustainable educational practices across global and cross-cultural contexts.
- 1. Full Paper (Presentation and Publication)
- The paper must be written in English.
- All submissions will undergo a peer-review process by the conference committee.
- The paper should be at least 4 pages, maximum 5 pages including all figures, tables, and references, more pages will be charged.
- The paper should be submitted as a PDF document in .pdf format.
- Submitted paper must be unpublished.
- Accepted papers will be invited for oral presentation or poster presentation and will be included in the conference proceedings.
- Authors should remove any details that may reveal your identity from your manuscript. If the manuscript has already been uploaded through the system, please kindly double-check whether any personal information is included. If so, please remove it and upload the revised version again.
2. Abstract (Presentation only)
- Abstracts will be considered for presentation (oral/poster) only without publication.
- The abstract must be written in English.
- Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and clearly outline the title, purpose, methods, and outcomes of the research or practice being described.
- All submissions will undergo a peer-review process by the conference committee.
- Authors should remove any details that may reveal your identity from your abstract. If the abstract has already been uploaded through the system, please kindly double-check whether any personal information is included. If so, please remove it and upload the revised version again.

Accepted full papers will be invited for oral presentation or poster presentation, and will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore if they meet publication requirements.
Accepted full papers that do not meet conference proceeding's requirements will be scheduled exclusively for oral or poster presentation without publication.
