ICPS7: 7th International Conference on Protective Structures Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi, UAE, May 12-15, 2025

ICPS7 will attract the leading researchers and practitioners, to report and exchange ideas on the latest developments of a wide range of basic and applied research for the protection of civil infrastructure, ranging from buildings and bridges to pipelines and dams, the forces of nature and human-made challenges such as explosions, impacts, andother extreme loads. 

Submission Guidelines

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Abstracts for ICPS7 consideration should be submitted through the Abstract Submission Portal (Easychair.org)
• Deadline for abstract submission is 18 October 2024 23:59:00 (UAE time).
• Abstracts have to be submitted exclusively online using the ICPS7 template (download from the "Template" link) 
• Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
• Abstracts must be associated with a planned oral presentation (on-site).
• The abstract must contain a minimum of 350 words and a maximum of 500 words and 2 good quality images (approx. 300 characters deduction).
• (Optional) Authors can also submit extended abstracts with a length between 2-4 pages.
• The number of papers submitted by the same author is limited to 5. The number of authors is limited to 10 altogether.

Full paper and Special Issue in the International Journal of Protective Structures:

• Authors with accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to contribute a full paper. Also, some papers will be selected to be published in a special issue of the International Journal of Protective Structures. All submissions to the International Journal of Protective Structures will undergo the journal’s regular peer-​reviewing process.

IMPORTANT:

All listed authors must consent to the abstract title/text and to its publication for open distribution. Accepted abstracts will be published as a book of abstracts.
