The IBE Annual Meeting is a gathering of the world’s leading researchers and educators in biological engineering, who share a passion for building a better future. The Annual Meeting will include technical sessions in key areas such as biomaterials, bioeconomy, biosensors, nanotechnology, synthetic biology, and more. The conference's intimate setting and diverse makeup are catalysts for multidisciplinary interactions with attendees who actively participate in shaping the biological engineering profession.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
- Oral presentation The IBE general technical sessions are held concurrently during the meeting, making certain that similar topics are not at the same time.
- Posters You will have an opportunity to verbally present the details of your poster and you may supplement it with handouts. Please remember that the viewers and judges are from a broad range of disciplines within the biological engineering community. Therefore, it is recommended that posters be designed for a broad technical audience. Please keep your oral presentations brief; do not exceed five minutes. The top three Undergraduate Student Posters and the top three Graduate Student Posters will receive cash awards and certificates of merit.
