New projects sought for the three strategic thematic fields

Through the three strategic thematic fields Humane Digital Transformation, Sustainable Development and Caring Society, the BFH is positioning itselves as a university that addresses the pressing issues of our time. The three thematic fields are now jointly launching a call for seed funding for projects in the areas of research and teaching.

With the fourth call, we want to promote forward-looking projects in the three thematic fields. The projects submitted should contribute to the further development of a caring society, a humane digital transformation, and sustainable development. Your project should be aligned with the focus areas of the three thematic fields. At least two departments must be involved in a project, preferably on an equal footing. Projects that take a “whole institution approach” and cover several fields of action (education, research, social participation, and operations) are particularly welcome. 

Thematic Call on Sustainable Development

In the strategic field of sustainable development, projects on the focus topic of social transformation are particularly welcome. We are looking for interdepartmental project ideas that initiate transformative processes, bring together different perspectives and question and further develop existing structures in terms of sustainability. Projects that correspond to this priority and thus strengthen our role as an active actor in social change will be given priority in the selection process. Of course, project submissions on the other three focus topics of the topic of sustainable development are also welcome.
