General Information
The Conference is organized by the Hellenic Association for Information and Communication Technologies in Agriculture, Food & Environment (HAICTA). HAICTA is the Greek branch of the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture (EFITA). Until now, HAICTA has organized a series of eleven successful conferences.
HAICTA 2026 aims to bring together professionals, experts and researchers working on Agriculture, Food and Environment, emphasizing on the applicability of ICT solutions and innovations to real industry cases addressing modern challenges.
Hybrid Model
HAICTA 2026 will be the 4th Conference in the series to offer in-person attendance, remote participation and live streaming for those who won't be able to attend, giving the chance for an even wider audience. Authors will have the option to present in-person at the Conference or remotely through teleconferencing.

Paper Submission - Author Instructions
All submissions will be reviewed through a fully digital peer review process by two referees for abstracts and two referees for short papers. Submissions will be handled through the EasyChair for HAICTA 2026 Online Submission System. Registration Fees
HAICTA 2026 offers three types of online registration for those interested in submitting a paper and attending the Conference in Kos Island, Greece. You can find more information here: https://haicta.gr/conferences/haicta2026/registration/
HAICTA 2026 will accept only online registrations, made via the online registration system (above link) that will be set up at a later point and will be accessible starting 31 May 2026 alongside the opening of Early Registration.
Publication of the Conference Proceedings
All types of submission can be presented either orally or as an e-poster. The abstract of all accepted papers will be included in the Book of Abstracts of HAICTA 2026, a digital booklet which will be available online via our official website.
Only the short papers will be included in the Proceedings of HAICTA 2026, published by MDPI (open access), after passing an evaluation process by the publisher. These will be available online and citable. For those who will submit initially an abstract and gets accepted for presentation, they can convert it to a short paper and submit it as a camera-ready paper instead, following the provided guidelines.
Selected submissions will be invited after the Conference to be submitted as extended papers in Special Issues in specific journals. More information regarding this matter will be available soon.Learn more here: https://haicta.gr/conferences/haicta2026/proceedings/
