CCES2025: Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability (CCES) 5th Edition online October 5-7, 2025 |
Conference website | https://www.ierek.com/events/climate-change-and-environmental-sustainability-cces-5th-edition#introduction |
The Earth's climate is shifting at an unprecedented pace, altering ecosystems, reshaping landscapes, and challenging the resilience of societies worldwide. Rising temperatures, unpredictable weather patterns, and intensifying natural disasters are no longer distant concerns but present realities affecting communities, economies, and biodiversity. As these environmental changes accelerate, the urgency to confront the causes and consequences of climate change has never been greater.
However, mitigating climate change and fostering environmental sustainability is not a challenge that can be addressed through isolated efforts. A sustainable future requires a multifaceted approach—one that integrates scientific research, policy innovation, technological advancements, and community-driven initiatives. From the transition to renewable energy and climate-resilient infrastructure to nature-based solutions and resource-efficient economies, a collective response is necessary to balance environmental preservation with societal progress.
The 5th edition of the Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability (CCES) conference, taking place online from 05 to 07 October 2025, in collaboration with Chongqing University, China, will serve as a platform for interdisciplinary exchange. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, this conference will explore strategies for climate adaptation, mitigation, and sustainability. Through in-depth discussions, CCES aims to contribute to global efforts in shaping a future that prioritizes environmental responsibility and long-term resilience.
